Doubling parent leads while cutting the cost of each one

A full digital rebuild for one of South Africa's leading school networks: a new responsive website, relaunched Google and Meta campaigns, and SEO, all measured against one number.

SPARK Schools

+117%

enrolment leads year on year, at R71 each instead of R116

The goal

Fill classrooms. SPARK Schools needed more enrolment leads from prospective parents, without the marketing budget growing at the same pace.

The problem

The old website wasn't responsive, so parents browsing on their phones hit slow pages and broken layouts. Paid campaigns were carrying the weight, and every lead was getting more expensive.

What we did

We rebuilt the website end to end, fully responsive, fast, and aligned to the new brand identity, then relaunched the Google and Meta campaigns with phase-specific ads built around what matters to parents at each stage of school, and put SEO to work on the search terms parents actually use. Everything reported against one metric: enrolment leads.

The outcome
  • 01Total leads up 117% year on year, from 12,600 to 27,400
  • 02Cost per lead down from R116 to R71
  • 03Google leads up 110% on slightly less spend, with CPL cut from R142 to R69
  • 04Organic leads up 236% after the new site launched
  • 05Messaging conversations with prospective parents nearly quadrupled
